Outplacement support

When someone leaves, help them find their next role.

Fresh Chapter is redundancy support you can give every leaver. Each person gets a UK job-search workspace built on what they have actually done: honest CVs, roles matched to their experience, and interview practice out loud.

Support for every leaver

Anyone you make redundant can have the same help, whatever their role or seniority.

Their search stays private

You arrange the support. Their CVs, applications and pay stay theirs and are never shown to you.

Nothing is invented

Every line in a CV or letter traces back to their own record. Where it cannot be backed up, they get asked.

Built for the UK

British CV conventions, live UK job adverts and salaries in pounds. Not an American product with the spellings changed.

Redundancy is hard on the person leaving. The help should not be.

Most people facing redundancy have not written a CV in years. They have a notice period, a lot of advice from well-meaning friends, and a job market that has changed since they last looked. A leaflet and a one-off workshop rarely get them far.

Fresh Chapter gives each person somewhere to do the whole search, from first CV to signed offer, built on the experience they already have.

They start with what they have actually done.

Each person builds an experience library once: roles, achievements with real figures, the stories behind them, skills and training. Everything else reads from it. There are four ways in.

  • Upload a CVPDF or Word, read into a structured draft they check before it is saved.
  • Talk it throughA coach interviews them about their history, out loud or typed, and writes it up.
  • Import LinkedInA read-only snapshot of their profile, to copy across what is worth keeping.
  • Type it inA plain sectioned editor, for anyone who would rather do it by hand.

Talking it through suits people who have never had a CV, or whose last one is ten years old.

One record of their experience, each line something they can point to.

Then it helps with the hard parts.

Everything reads from the same library, so each application is quicker than the last instead of starting again from a blank page.

Roles scored honestly, gaps named

They search live UK adverts, or paste in a job they found elsewhere. Each one is scored out of 100 against their library, with the reasoning shown and the gaps named. A short run of questions then turns a gap into a real line they can stand behind.

Fit score
A mark, a verdict, and the evidence from their record behind it.
Gap analysis
What the advert asks for that they have not shown yet.
One board
Every application from saved to offer, with dates and reminders.

CVs and letters they can defend

Tailored to each role from their record, then checked a second time for anything it cannot prove. Word, PDF or Markdown.

Interview practice, out loud

A voice interviewer asks what this role is likely to ask and scores each answer. Typed, if they prefer.

Know the employer before the interview

A brief on each company: what it does, how staff describe working there, recent news and what tends to come up at interview.

Know what they are worth

Salary benchmarks for their role and area, before they have to name a number.

How it works

Tell us who is leaving

We agree the support with you, then invite each person by email. They sign in with a link, so there is no password to set up.

They build their library

Upload a CV, talk it through or import from LinkedIn. About twenty minutes, once.

They search, apply and prepare

Fit scores, tailored documents, company briefs and interview practice for each role, all in one place.

Losing a job is stressful enough without tools that exaggerate on someone's behalf. Where their record cannot back a claim, Fresh Chapter flags it and asks them, rather than inventing something plausible. That is the whole point.

Questions employers ask

What does each person get?

Their own Fresh Chapter workspace: an experience library, live UK job search with fit scores, tailored CVs and covering letters, company briefs, salary benchmarks and interview practice by voice or typed.

Can we see what they do in it?

No. You arrange the support, but each person's records, applications and pay are visible only to them. That is deliberate: people search more openly when they know their employer is not watching.

How do people get access?

Once we have agreed the support with you, each person gets an invitation by email and signs in with a link rather than a password.

Will it make things up to make them look better?

No. Every claim in a CV, letter or interview answer has to trace back to something in their library, and a second checking pass runs over each draft before they see it. A missing figure is flagged for them to fill in, never guessed.

Do they have to talk to it?

No. Talking is often the quickest way to get a work history down and the most useful way to practise for an interview, but every voice feature has a typed version.

What happens to their information?

It belongs to them. Pay is stored encrypted and kept out of everything written for an employer. They can download a complete copy of their records at any time, or delete all of it permanently.
